Triple

Toured a small section of Baltimore slowly. A ten minute walk to the medical center during the temperature creep to triple digits. When my aunt and I returned to the lodge, a restful afternoon for her with many caregiver/student tasks facing me. Even so, the week was a welcome break from my hometown, family, and part-time job. I miss puzzle-man (Richard), the communal dinners, and people genuinely interested in listening and talking.

Upon returning to the shore, I learn that the Otto's are visiting! Wonderful people who bring out the better side of yourself. Also quite cute to see their daughter, Kayla, for the first time. The girls also took me under their wing momentarily. Relieved that I could finally visit friends outside of work, with the bulky counter inbetween. Jenn, Kellie, and Jenn G. Kellie's St. Paul friends were amazingly welcoming of a complete stranger. Okay I did love the four familiar faces in the bunch. Wilber nearly knocked me over in her exuberant hug. =) Loved it! Felt included. Vik, Sean, Erica, Sarah, Randy, Melissa... Wow! I am going to make the effort to support this group, hopefully by joining. May take months.

I have renewed my running hobby. Gear is "cheap" since I am blessed with soccer playing siblings. Just excuse the guy wear. Daniel and I drove the five mile radius about the house. The odometer helped me draw up some trails to use in morning jog/walks. Find a goal. Work on my time. Enter a 5k race. Read inspiring stories (but beware of comparison) in Runner's World. Running buddy, slower and faster, and enjoy the long stretches of time to think.
