in session

My management class received a civics lesson this morning as we attempted to recall the 10 rights from the Constitution. The professor was all over the place in giving his opinions, but I cannot be certain were he falls in the political and religious spectrum. Libertarian? Christian? His anti-environmentalist stance became clear as he listed the anti-capitalists and went off on his tangent about Rachel Carson's A silent spring and DDT malaria causing damage.

This is day six of classes. Linguistics should be meeting at 11 today but due to a medical appointment Dr. Vila canceled. Already we do not meet four times (for a TR class!!!) because of his conferences etc. I must remain in the textbook or writting relevant papers during that hour and a quarter.

Ginger painted the house all weekend. Sage green covers the spare room and her bathroom. The hallway and livingroom were completed, a white, mere hours before I moved in a week ago. My bathroom is now unscuffed too. Ginger chose a light peach for her room, though she wishes she'd gone with a darker shade. I can pick a color from a selection of paint chips--if I avoid pink and purple--thinking a blue would be conducive to sleeping.

Our friend Sarah Meadows leaves Maryland on Friday. :*] I am confident she will fit in well in CO, but praying without ceasing... I also doubt we have seen the last of her!!
