picked up a book this week that in english describes the site built by the spanish moors (islamic influence) a thousand years ago. Granada called home by Ferdinand and Isabella, the book says, in 1492. the castle still standing well fortified on three sides by cliffs and the only vunerability was the lack of water, necesity demanded be pumped in by aqueducts.
