Slice of Life

This morning was the first exam for Finance. Cash flows confuse me, but reading upstairs in the library for tomorrow's class Chapter Nine begins to put the ideas together for students. Hopefully Stephen, who sits beside, me finishs strong. He was still filling in scantron bubbles. This class is one of those that enjoy changing the grading scale so it is harder to pass. a 82 is the lowest b possible.

Mom asked if I would mind if she ran a form stating Mom is my power of attorney. To have a CPA looking after my best interests---would I turn that down. You see my grandmother in her generosity provided some funds for her grandchildren's college education. Apparently I thought the money was after-tax and forgot to report it on last years form. Oops. Wouldn't you know it would be the return to be audited?

Panera Bread's new hire is typing away at this entry. I have filled out the remaining forms. I was unsure if I was exempt from State and Federal withholdings. Nope... I'll make too much. I suppose that is a good problem.

After the exam I went into the registrar's office and there Ms. Hagar helped me with the issues relating to Spring term enrollment. Even at this late date I was able to get into every class I wanted. This means I get to wear my leotard, slippers and tights from freshmen year!! The three remaining courses are all three hundred level spanish (lit, composition, and film). Best schedule of my undergraduate career!!!!!!!!

GRE and grad school research to come.
