Far Side

A week being the daytime mistress of the house: Mom and Dad at their respective workplaces, the younger two at Fellowship for Christian Athlete (FCA) camp, and Joseph away at College Park. How can the human language express the emotions that go through one as you occupy the mind and feed the body in a too quiet house? Time to enjoy the pleasure, uninterrupted, of finishing a collection of novels- by some famous dude in the 20s who features cigarettes prominently in his hero Private Detective Mike Hammer. Comic books rediscovered in beloved little nerd Jason Fox, annoying sister Paige, and the other cast of Foxtrot characters. During HGTV commercials today flipped through the fifth collection of Gary Larson’s work. This time I appreciated his humor on a deeper level.
