Summer Beat

Assateague Island - sand is getting uncomfortably warm against the soles of ones feet, but the cold water (69 degrees on Sunday) is a nice way to cool down. Tourists continue to snap pictures of the horses along the road, but saw the park rangers enforcing policy as they walked between cars on the shoulder. Mionie's pizza in the Ocean City outlets continues to provide a delicious product. Bought a white pizza the other week with broccoli, tomato, & ricotta cheese toppings.

Researched drywalling techniques online this week, helping me better understand what the laborers are doing when I am writing invoices for my job. Skill is involved in mixing the right ratio of water to solution different tools are involved. Mudding. Drywalling. Sanding. Taping. Almost like a new language to learn, in the construction industry. Daniel cooked pasta tonight and added his own twist with meat, garlic butter and spices. Turned out really well and fun pasta shapes heighten the enjoyment of a meal. Cooked chicken yesterday, poaching it, and then cutting grapes and stirring in sliced almonds for a tasty chicken salad. Love allrecipes.com! Besides a nap this afternoon, I have been up since 4am so off to bed.
